Makeup Tips

Applying makeup is an art. If you find it easy to throw together a stellar outfit and an alluring fragrance, but are clueless when it comes to applying makeup, read the tips below. These fool proof tricks will cut not only have you looking beautiful in a flash, but will allow you to get the glamorous looks all of your favorite celebrities are wearing.

Whether it is a basic lip gloss or a volumizing mascara, we always carry some makeup product or the other in our vanity bag. In fact, rarely do we step out without applying at least one item of makeup.some of the easy makeup tips are given below:-

1. Have a nice wet shave to keep your face and neck from getting razor bumps.

2. Skin should be prepared now for makeup application, which means moisturizing to ensure you don’t get razor bumps and priming your skin to make sure your makeup stays on all day

3. Apply Beard Cover to lower face. Don’t put too much on. Remember you still need to put foundation over it, so you don’t want to over-do it with the beard cover.

4. Apply Foundation all over your face. Using a cream makeup foundation apply all over your face. Don’t forget to cover your eyelids. This will work as a base for your eye shadow. It will stick and blend better when you apply it.

5.Apply your eye shadow color or colors. Try blending more than one. It’s fun and looks amazing. You can do it to match an outfit. Test out some sparkles for when you’re going out!
6. Apply eyeliner. This can be tricky and will take some getting used to before your penciling on bold straight lines. So, sharpen your pencil and take your time. Try starting with the lower eyelid’s first. When you think you have mastered that, then try top eyeliner. When you get the hang of it test out some cat eye looks.
7. Apply Fake Eyelashes and Mascara  after your done with your eyeliner. Fake eyelashes can be very hard to get on your first time. I would suggest trying mascara first. once your get a better hang over the makeup thing, then try out some false lashes.
8. Apply an Antiperspirant Powder. Apply a generous coating of a loose translucent anti- perspirant powder. Don’t be afraid to use a lot. A good coating will keep your makeup in place all day.
9. Apply your Blush or Bronzer. All contouring should be done now before blush. After, bronzer should go just below your cheek bones to make them look a lot higher.  Blush goes just above your bronzer, on the apples of your cheeks.
10. Lip Liner, Lip Stick, or Lip Gloss. Apply a generous amount and smooth lips together to blend.
Lastly, make sure to buy all the necessary cleaning supplies to get all the makeup off your skin. You can buy makeup remover wipes at almost any grocery store. These will really come in handy. Or if you have baby oil, use that. Baby oil works really great for getting makeup off easily.

Balanced Diet

The healthiest diet adheres to some sensible and straightforward guidelines: Eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and eat less meat.

FRUITS

Fruits are great for hydration and they’re a fantastic source of fiber, potassium, and antioxidants. Apples, oranges, blueberries, and blackberries are some of the most nutritious.

VEGETABLES

Vegetables are pretty much the healthiest foods on the planet. Some of the most nutrition-packed are kale, broccoli, spinach, and peppers.

BEANS AND LENTILS

Beans and lentils provide a hefty dose of protein, and many are also a great source of iron. Kidney beans, split peas, and tofu (tofu is made of soybeans) are some of the best sources.

GRAINS & STARCHY VEGETABLES

Grains and starchy vegetables are a great source of fiber, iron, and protein. Brown
rice, pasta, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes are a few of the healthiest options.

Super Healthy Spices

Food doesn't have to taste terrible to be good for us. If you shop at your local farmers market you likely already know just how incredible fresh, local and seasonal ingredients can taste. Those ripe, juicy fruits and vibrant veggies are also chock full of nutritious benefits, too. And they're not the only delicious tasting foods that are good for you. Your spice cabinet may just offer healthy benefits beyond fantastic flavor.

Spices and herbs are often relegated to bit players when it comes to healthy eating, but many deserve more recognition for the nutrients they provide. While small in size they pack more antioxidants and other healthy substances than meets the eye

A touch of spice might be just what you need to minimize the damage of aging—and even offset the impact of diabetes. Research from the University of Georgia finds that antioxidant-rich herbs and spices can block the formation of harmful compounds that are associated with aging and may inhibit tissue damage caused by high levels of blood sugar.

Fasion Tips

If You are Into Trendy Clothes, You Probably Also Read Up on Fashion Tips

If you are into trendy clothes, you probably also read up on fashion tips so you can best display your outfits. But unfortunately, many of the fashion tips you sort through provide rules that are difficult to understand, much less follow. That is, you don’t have to be the world’s smartest person to follow style guidelines. The good news is that fashion can be a simple concept, something easy to incorporate into your daily life. So here are some universally wise fashion tips that don’t require an advanced degree in clothing culture.

There is a theory that no matter what you are doing in your life, you are always communicating something to someone. So basically, this means you are wearing the clothes you have on right now for a reason, even if you don’t realize it. Think about it, you dress a certain way to go to work and a completely different way when heading out for a night on the town. When you become conscious of the reasons for the way you dress, you are better prepared to dress in a way that prepares you for whatever may happen.

We don’t care how much you paid for those designer jeans or that super-cute dress, if they don’t fit properly, you have failed.

No matter what is true to your personal style, it is very important you have a signature look. Regardless of what it is, that piece of jewelry you always wear or the style of jeans you choose, figure out what defines you and don’t change it.

Healthy Hair Tips For Men

Eat Right and Exercise

Hair needs the same spectrum of nutrients as the rest of the body, and some are especially beneficial. For example, hair is largely protein. Meat and dairy foods pack the most protein punch, with Soy foods running a close second. Biotin, a B vitamin, promotes softness and strength. It's found in brown rice, leafy greens and eggs. The omega-3 fatty acids in fish and nuts are especially good for the scalp. Getting enough fluid in both food and drink is also essential to handsome hair.

And  Exercise increases the blood flow, delivering all those nutrients to your scalp -- which, you'll remember, is where healthy hair starts.

Get a Haircut

Once hairs sprout from your scalp, it's no longer growing -- they're just growing older. Hair on the end of a strand, or shaft, can be up to six years old. It's seen a lot of wear and tear. Also, hair naturally loses moisture with age. The protective outer covering (the cuticle) can split at the ends, which can move farther up the shaft and lead to further weakness, dryness and damage.
A regular trim helps nip the problem in the bud. Hair strength varies with genes, washing routine and other treatments, and exposure to sun and heat, so some guys can go longer between cuts than others. Because the cuticle reflects light, dull hair is a sign that the cuticle is cracking up. Act soon to avoid a head full of frizzies.

Match Your Shampoo to Your Hair Type

Formulating different shampoos for different types of hair isn't just a marketing ploy. These products contain specific ingredients to remedy problems like dryness and excess oil in hair.
Shampoos for dry hair contain fats or oils, humectants (water-drawing ingredients like glycerin or glycerol), and panthenol, a form of vitamin B5. Clarifying shampoos treat oily hair with degreasers, including tea tree oil, rosemary and chamomile. Brittle hair that frizzes and splits easily might benefit from proteins, such as collagen, keratin, and wheat and silk proteins.
When comparing brands of shampoo, don't judge by price alone. The most expensive products and the cheapest sometimes contain the same active ingredients. Find the one that works best for you.

Watch the Greasy Stuff

From slick to spiky, gels and other styling aids create looks that your hair left alone would never accomplish. Gels work their architectural feats using polymers -- that is, plastic -- dissolved in alcohol. Alcohol can weaken keratin and strip hair of moisture and oils. That damages keratin, leaving hair weak and brittle. Use gels sparingly, preferably those that are alcohol free.
Pomades and waxes, on the other hand, contain heavier ingredients like petroleum jelly and beeswax. Removing them may take repeated washings or a stronger shampoo than you would otherwise use, which can also damage hair. Newer, water-based formulas help avoid this problem.

Treat Wet Hair with Special Care

Hair's main component is a protein called keratin. Water stretches and weakens keratin molecules, so hair is more fragile when wet.
Unfortunately, this is just when hair gets its roughest treatment: washing, drying and the application of all kinds of "care" products.
To minimize damage, wash hair only as needed. If you have naturally oily hair, that may be daily, but most guys can go longer. Overwashing can actually dull hair by stripping away protective oils.
Make your routine as gentle as possible. Use warm water, not hot water. Massage the scalp rather than scrubbing, and blot hair dry with a towel instead of firing up the blow dryer. Ease out tangles with a wide-toothed comb.

simple steps stylish woman follows

From clothing as a form of communication to a refreshingly comforting outlook on trends, these tips will not only help to put your best foot forward but also put you at ease.

Clothing is a form of communication

There is a theory that no matter what you do in life, you are always communicating something. Body language experts have built entire careers on this theory—as have stylists. They believe (rightfully) that your outfit is not simply a thing with a certain aesthetic appeal; it’s a form of self-expression. Your clothing says something to those around you, whether you intend it to or not, so it’s best to approach dressing with some form of intention.

Outfits are responses to social situations

Similarly to how your clothing can communicate some of your ideas to those around you, clothes also serve as responses to social situations. There’s a reason you want to dress a certain way for the office and a certain way when you’re going to a dinner party, and rarely are they the same. Clothing should be used as a method by which you show up to a social event or location and say, “I’m present and ready for whatever is coming my way.”

Fit is the most important thing

You could have on the trendiest, most expensive outfit in the world—but if it doesn’t fit you properly, you’re not going to look stylish, and all your effort and money would have been wasted. Stylist Stacy London advises, “The biggest mistake women make is wearing clothes that don't fit because they don't accept the body they have right now. You have to do that in order to figure out what looks good on you. And besides, confidence is the best accessory. It can make or break an outfit.”

A great pair of jeans is worth investing in

Whether you prefer the customized effect of investing in a pair of raw denim jeans, like Vogue market editor Kelly Connor, or simply want a pair of these-will-last-forever jeans, the wardrobe staples are definitely worth investing in. Whereas a less expensive, on-trend pair is fine to grab every now and then, you really need quality denim in your closet to last you from year to year.

Dressing should be half your audience, half your personal style

Even though it’s true that dressing should be an expression of your self, it’s ill-advised to completely ignore the setting you’re going to be in. For example, just because you feel like wearing that brand new mini to the office, doesn’t mean it’s okay for you to do so. It’s healthy and wise to consider both your own desires and your situation when you’re getting dressed.
It's important to know the right times to play with trends

While we would certainly never discourage you from trying out as many trends as your heart desires, there are right and wrong places to do so. If you’re attending a relative’s wedding, for example, it might not be the best time to bust out those Birkenstocks. Trying out trends is much more appropriate for dressy but not formal social occasions, like nights out with the ladies.

Seemingly tiny tricks can totally change your look

Something as simple as looping your belt a certain way or tucking your shirt in can have a huge impact on your style. Not everything is about making giant overhauls to your closet; the cuff of a shirt sleeve or the roll of a pant hem can totally transform you in an instant.

One must have a style signature

Above all, no matter what else is true of your personal style, it’s very important to have a signature. Whether it’s a gold bangle you always wear or the fact that you always choose boyfriend jeans over skinnies, figure out what one thing that defines your own personal style, and stick with it—until you want to change it, and then feel free to do so.
